Default 2001 Mirage

We have a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage with the check engine light on. We have it at the local Mitsubishi dealer and they are unable at the present time to fix the problem. The code that keeps coming up and turning on the check engine light is code #0300 Random Misfire.

They have replaced the plugs, wires, and coils. The car runs fine but the check engine light comes back on. They are going to try replacing the crank sensor tomorrow.

Do you have any ideas as to what is going on? Your help is appreciated.

They put in a "crank" sensor yesterday. No luck.

Just thinking about what you said; a Oxygen sensor makes sense. I passed that on to the dealership. Almost sounds to easy.

Thanks.
