Hey guys im new here, been lookin online for a site like this for a few weeks now. My mirage has broke down and i need some help troubleshooting it. I have the 1.5 liter engine. The enginge was ticking like it does when it is low on oil, i stopped put a quart in and got back on the road. I reached about 35 mph and a huge thick puff of white smoke came out the tailpipe. Any ideas?

 

Ticking is common on older mitsu's. Its usually b/c of diry lifters in the cylinder head. Check your oil level you may have overfilled it.
