Is the 02 Montero Sport xls, reliable suv?

I have an '01 Sport 4wd and it's pretty reliable. Parts (in WA state) are terribly hard to find. All the parts stores here say they have the part and they end up having the wrong part. Every time, seriously. We do end up finding the right part (and all parts are pretty spendy) after 2-3 tries.
My Sport is great off road, highway, freeway, town, etc. Since WA state thinks ETHANOL is awesome
my mpg have gone from 17 city to 13 city in the past 9 months. She's also been running a little different since they changed our gas. We just bought a bottle of Lucas fuel stuff to hopefully remedy the problem.
All around a great rig and I would buy one again.
