Hello all. I am a new Mitsubishi Montero owner and I'm looking for some help. I was basically given an '03 Montero XLS with a bad motor. Exterior is in great shape. When I picked it up the interior was far more trashed then I thought. So while waiting for my rebuild kit I tore out the entire interior. Pressure washed the carpet, which turned out great, and rented a shampooer to clean the seats. The seats did not turn out well. I'm not sure what they did, but the cleaning solution looked like chocolate milk!

Long story short, I'm wondering if anyone out there has bought good fitting aftermarket seat covers. I love the vehicle so far and look forward to many years of child hauling, towing sleds, hunting and hopefully some minor off-roading.

 

have you tried taking the covers off and throwing them in the laundry? a bit of a hassle but i feel it would come out pretty nice.
