Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default 06 Montero

Just bought an 06 Montero Ltd., with 40k. Everything runs great and is a pleasure to drive. Having never owned a Montero or a Mitsu in general I am just curious as to whether there is anything to keep an eye on or if there is any standard maintenance to perform at a given time. Thanks for any help provided. I am going from a LandRover Disco to the Mitsu so its all new, and hopefully not as maintanence intensive as the Rover.

change your fluids and filters as per recommended by the owners manual.

the timing belt and plugs are recommended at 60k, but in reality will easily last 100k, which is a much more reasonable time to do them.
