I have an unusual problem.

When I turn on the wipers and they come back down to the rest position the passenger side wiper drops to low and the wipers cease to operate.

The wiper motor is still running and if I go and lift up on the passenger side blade it will do a cycle and repeat the problem.

I have replaced the linkage and the motor. Still have the problem.

Any ideas?

 

I'm sure you probably checked this, but for what its worth, could be insufficient tension between wiper arm and linkage spindle gear. Have you checked the wiper arm for worn threads where the arm meets the gear, arm sitting properly, sufficiently tightened nut?
