1990 Montero ECU....Need help!!Location.

Hi , I have a 1990 montero ,and I thought the ecu was behind the rightfront kickpanel.But the box I found had a mb part number , and apparently im looking for a md part number. Where is the ECU? Thanks for any help possible.
