1990 montero oil pump repair help
So my oil pump is just about dead, and I bought a repair kit (new gears pressure valve, gaskets). Never done this before, but am fairly adept to take off and put on stuff. If I can take it off I can put it on.
Is there a easy, maybe simplified way to take off the fan/ pulley/crankshaft sprocket? I do have a repair book, but pretty vague. anything helps.
thanks
Rob

ya so...
it turns out that it's not just my oil pump, (of course), my rocker arms are loose, which were the cause of alot of ticking sounds and might as well do the timing belt since it's open. Damn it, never just one thing is it.
Just putting this out there, I'm going to be looking for a 90-91 montero engine some time in the future, when I have money built back up. So any info please send it my way
