1995 Montero LS Rear Brake issues
About 8 months ago, I replaced the rear rotors and calipers on my 95 Montero.
In August, I started hearing a little grinding, so I took a look and saw that the right rear rotor was extremely worn, but the left rotor had no wear what so ever.
The right caliper was also damaged because I let it go too far, so I replaced both parts again.
Fast forward to two weeks ago, I walk out to the car and find a puddle of brake fluid under the right rear tire, and no brake fluid in the master cylinder.
After pulling the caliper, it was leaking fluid heavily, and I replaced it under warrant.
Today, same deal on the left side.
Front brakes are functioning just fine, rotors and calipers replaced over a year ago with no issues since.
What could cause this type of failure so rapidly? Is it possibly a symptom of another brake system component not functioning properly?
Thanks in advance
