Getting ready to do the timing belt(128K), water pump , valve seals(SMOKING ISSUES) and everything in between and have been researching online and I guess theres a manual with the wrong timing information in it but cant find out which one does anyone know? Any info would be helpful thanx.

if you havent already started, and there really are no markings (highly unlikely) then make your own when you have #1 @tdc.

Thanx ax for the reply. After alil more research Ive figured out its the manual from www.mitsubishilinks.com regarding the 3.5 v6 engine timing procedure, from what ive read these steps will cause valve and piston interference so just to be safe im not going to use it. But im pulling the heads so as long as I have all my marks on point I should be ok in theory. Im not sure which cylinder is #1 since I havent bought a service manual yet. but as soon as I start Ill be posting pics of the surgery. And hopefully I dont break the crank pulley bolt opon removal.

You've got a big job ahead of you. I believe Cylinder No. 1 is front passenger side.
