yea if you look through this thread i believe i mentioned that link..

he is the guy who has them, and another seller in AU (australia.)

they are definitely monopolizing the market because no one else imports them and buys them in bulk.

They sell them for $500+ USD maybe not even including shipping. Absurd for aftermarket projectors from China. supply and demand definitely.

been a long time lurker here
anyway, i have these "rare" projectors.
i bought mine from ebay uk - chrome housing

honestly its no big deal:
the projectors are SMALL, think fog lights size.
i had to put hid lights for it and it still needs to be tweaked because of the arc of the light ( i gave up ).
it was great at first because mine was different but wished i looked for the australian vrx projectors.
also, i wished they put small led's on the front four round reflector thingies.

will i part with mine?
maybe if i get the vrx projectors or finally get rid of the car.

to those who are still aching to get one, also try ebay philippines. i saw one last month.

btw, did anyone bought the chrome side mirrors with led's? i have those too but i still cannot make the wiring connections (blinkers).

No one asked for my wonderful opinion, but I'll give it to you anyway I like the old school lights just fine — why change it? All these new look-alike vehicles with these tiny insect-looking features that they make nowadays just grinds my gears. One reason I love my '95 beast so much is that it doesn't look like the cookie-cutter, aerodynamic monstrosities that everyone is putting out that makes an Accord look no different than a Lexus or a Saab or a Ford. No character. I mean, have you seen the new Montero? Yuck!

But, my grumpy opinions aside, I applaud your craftsmanship and enthusiasm to modify your personal ride. Congratulations. I'll go take my meds now....

the opinion is welcomed. nice to see another nor cal member here.

as car enthusiasts a major part is being able to have choices in modifications.. imo

this is where the montero/pajero as a whole is lacking, regardless of generation.. everyone has their reasons.. but to answer your question on why change it? the answer would probably be.. why not? or cause we can. simple as that i guess..

as for the new montero, yes i've seen it, and i think it looks pretty darn nice.. its too bad mitsu stopped with the Montero here in the USDM after 06.. but if you are questioning the "new montero" that means you must be questioning the 3rd gen as the chassis and interior look to be the same except some face lift and panel changes..

instead mitsu chose to keep the nasty Endeavor which has virtually left unchanged since what early 02s? they should've kept this going..

Default If only...

Mitsu does need to bring the latest Montero/Pajero/Shogun here. One could say it's gone a bit L/Rover Discovery-ish... but it's a damn nice motor especially with the Turbo Diesel option.

I came here from the UK and the Jap' import Pajero's kicked *** over there - fully loaded, diesel and cheap as chips... that model would clean up over here...

Come on Mitsu - help us out!

Red Turbo... you're right; the Endeavour is ghastly!
