the correct part for a 2002 limited is MR430381, takes about 10 minutes to replace flat footed. Be sure to shift into 4 low range(s) with the truck in neutral, the flashing will stop and the axle will engage properly. You can shift into 4 high (all wheel drive) on the fly as long as the speed is under 50mph.

Default Front tire indicators and transfer box lights flashing

I just purchased a 2001 Montero Limited and love this vehicle! However, as I was driving in town (just got off the highway), the from tire indicators began flashing green. They did this for about a mile and then the transfer case indicator came on solid yellow. The performance of the vehicle did not change! Wondering if there is anyone that can tell me what this might be? I have had the car for less than a week and still have a bit of leeway with the laws in my state if I need to return it or have the dealer fix it (I think). Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks
