Default 2001 montero rear diff swap

New to the Monteros and have a question. Wondering if a limited slip diff is a bolt in deal for non limited slip montero xls. Found a xls with limited slip at junk yard and want to swap out mine. Are the front axles the same. I know sometimes the rear diffs are matched with the fronts due to gear ratios. Any help would be great.

All the Gen. III's have a 33 spline, 9.5'' rear diff. (with or without the LSD), the front is 28 spline, 8'' (high pinion) diff.
