I just purchased my montero ( I'm in love!!)
She has a few problems that aren't a big deal but one of my concerns is that my moonroof and interior front lights do not work. When I push the moonroof button no sounds, no clicking, nothing. I think it may be a fuse but every other place I've looked have always had clicking sounds and such for their problems. Also the front interior lights that are connected by the same protrusion do not work. Everything else works fine, power windows, power locks, all of my dash lights...any clues out there guys?

 

If I were u Id start by checking the fuses... After you rule that out try pulling out the switch and inspect it and inspect the moonroof motor...
