Default 2001 Sport valve cover gasket question

I have a 01 Montero sport 3.5L V6, and am changing the passenger side valve cover gasket. I removed 6 bolts (3 from each side) from the long sides of the cover. I also removed two additional bolts to loosen up the timing cover where it overlaps the front flange on the valve cover. I still cant get the valve cover to budge. I dont see or feel any more attachments, but I was afraid to try to pry it off because I wasnt sure if I would damage any aluminum mating surfaces. What am I missing?

Don't pry it. I took a 2x4 block and a sledge and tapped it sideways. It was stuck pretty good but you'll see if it is moving or not during the tap which should give you encouragement on how hard to hit.

Both sides are difficult, but the driver side doesn't have the timing belt cover in the way.
