Question 2001 XLS headlight question

Ok anyone know where I can pick up both headlight assemblies for a "non- sport Montero". I'm having a hell of a time finding them at any local junk yards and so far nothing online. Plenty of sport headlights but not what I need. Dealership wants over 400 each from them! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Clint

yea thats the problem with the 3rd gen USDM monteros.. lack of support.

you just have to keep looking out. try ebay.

Don't quote me, but the 03-06 may work. But I always felt teh 01-02 were nicer because they were black housing!

This site is a good place to find OEM parts:

https://www.mitsubishiparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html

They also have a phone number, so you can talk to an actual person.

Good Luck

Yes, mistubishiparts.com is great for new OEM parts. Here's the only Mitsu salvage yard I know of - hopefully they will have what you need.

Thanks everyone for the links. I'll call a few of them in the morning and hope they still have the parts. Thanks

Default Found Some Headlamps

I stumbled across these on ebay about a month ago, picked up a pair. Cam in the Mitsu box, and look awesome:

Prices go up and down on a monthly basis, but if you call and talk to Simo he will give them to you for about $190 for the set:

Default Montero Headlight

Halo -

I recently needed a passenger mirror for my 2001 Gen 3 Montero (looked all over the web) and found this supplier in Oklahoma very helpful. Had a used mirror in great shape in a few days. About $200 cheaper than from MM.

Good luck.
