Hi MXer746, Any chance that you have a guide/pics of your spark plugs change?
Thanks

Joining the timing belt ckub
Ok so I see that way back someone had the manual for the monte, I have an 01 limited that I'm getting ready to do the timing belt, water pump, adjuster and all the gaskets work on! I bet I can figure it out but man, info ahead of time would sure be helpful. Tons of work I've already put into getting the 4wd operable along with several other repairs since I bought it 3 weeks ago and all was going into it with no introduction. Not sure how to get that link to the manual but any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi MXer746, looking at your previous posts I see that you recommend replacing the timing belt between 80k to 90k miles. I have a 2005 Montero Limited that is at 68k miles and I don't know if the previous owner replaced the belt at 60k. Assuming it has not been replaced, would the age of the belt (10 years) be a factor?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Thanks Happaudio! I appreciate your taking the time to answer my question. That will be at the top of my list now. I had been looking for some time for a 2006 Montero, but when this 2005 showed up, I could not pass it up. The previous owner appears to have taken real good care of her. Real happy with the purchase.

I have purchased all my rebuild kits from Rockauto.com, way cheaper than other sites and you have great selection of manufacturers.
