Hello fine people,
Well my issue persists. I have changed everything possible on this car and i truly need a hug from a Mitsubishi Technician that can assure me that this is how the car is.I have never had a a automatic so i will try to explain this issue.
If i am driving it up hill and it is in 3rd gear it will shift to 4th even if im still in need of a higher rpm!!! WTF!!!! If it is on a regular surface normal street and you are in 4th gear and need to accelerate unless you floor it, it will shift to 3rd. if you just step for a normal acceleration it will lower the rpm almost seems that your flooding it before it kicks and moves. The messed up part is that im not getting and codes on my scanner.

Transmission fluid doe not smell burnt and is at its normal values of height and color

Someone give me some ideas what the hell is going on with this truck.

 

It sounds like an issue with the transmission controller. But to rule out other things... by any chance, do you have access to live data on your OBD2? Would be nice to see what is there when you are driving normally and when it does not down shift going up hill.
