Just bought this Montero a month ago and have almost forgotten how to spell JEEP!!! 50% of the time when I start up and drive off the tranny feels like its in POWER mode or is slow getting out of 1st gear and 2nd gear revs high as well. It will then go thru 3rd and 4th as normal- I'll stop at a light and it still does it when I take off. I pull over and restart and the tranny now functions normally. The OD is also on and there is only a slight variance when I cycle the OD.

ANY IDEAS WOULD BE GREAT!
