Default 98 montero no spark

My montero now has no spark after a alt and battery change. I have pulled the ecu and there is no visable damage or smell. I have checked the connections at the power transmiter and I have power to the fuel pump, I can hear it. The computer sees the injectors fuelinging and has a signal from the crank and cam sensors. I am at the end of the rope. Help if you can.

Regards
Richmond
