Mitsubishi Montero & Montero Sport This sport utility vehicle offers more size than the other Mitsubishi SUVs, but manages to keep a sporty look and comfortable feel, unlike many larger SUVs.

Default 99 Montero Limited, please help

I went and looked at a 99' Mitsubishi Montero limited (not a sport)
yesterday. It was very nice but one thing that really scared me was
when the car was just idling the oil pressure gauge sat right at 0
then when I gave it gas and/or was driving it would go up around 30,
but i've always thought you should have constant oil pressure. So to
anyone who may know, is this normal or is it signs of the oil pump
getting ready to go? Thanks in advance.

Todd

0 is not good 10-15 thats ok but 0 run away from that truck pick out something else.... if you really want that truck have a service tech look into it for you and make sure thats a true reading by hooking up an external oil pressure guage
