My transmission is acting up, I took it to the shop and they told me that they would have to take out the transmission, Tear it down and rebuild it, then put it back in the truck. Now I wanted to pull it out myself and then take it to them and have them tear it down and fix the problem. but the only problem I have is I don't work on cars so I don't know how to take out an transmission right now. I know that I'm sure to find out soon enough, if anybody has any suggestions on what I should do, Please reply.

 

its better to have the shop to do it, takin your tranny out is no joke. you'll need tools and a extra hand to take it out.
