I recently bought a used 2001 Montero Sport Limited. From everything I've read, the Limited model should have the Active Trac 4wd as well as the adaptive shift control transmission. However, the 4wd shift lever only has 2H, 4H, and 4L, and there is no secondary "gate" for the transmission shift lever. Am I missing something? Please help.
