I am new to the forum, but would love some advice on the topic of the Montero Sport. I am considering the purchase of a 2000 Monterro Sport Limited 4WD from a co-worker. It has 174,000 miles on it, and has been taken care of pretty good as long as she has owned it, 7 years. She is not the original owner. I have never owned anything Mitsubishi, so know little about them. I will do the normal checks, Carfax, test drive, maintenance records, and have a mechanic put it on a lift and take a look, but can someone share their experience with these with high mileage and their thoughts on this possible purchase?
