There are not many mods availible for your sport. The only one I have heard of that can provide any benfit is boring out the throttle body. Other wise the mods would require a rebuild and/or the installation of a turbo. Both would be very costly.

winshawn, it is not a montero sport, it's the montero full size xls. i know there are not too much accessories out there for my type of suv. i have seen a body kit for 02 montero that i thought was pretty clean, but i don't know if the kit for 02 would fit my 03 montero. the most important thing that i would like to do is change the intakes. the only thing i have now is the K&N drop-in air filters.

Hmmmm... for performance mods, you'll get some improvement from changing that filter but at the cost of faster engine wear. Less filtration = more dust/dirt ingestion = more engine wear = more rebuilds.
I frequently see too many "riced out" montero's in CA anyways. I'd suggest lifting it and putting 33's underneath instead but that's just me. You'll have enough power for them but it will affect performance (you won't be as quick)
I believe manik makes brush guards (don't depend on brush guards off road). Smitty built may also.
Haven't seen who makes a body kit for it. I'm sure you'll find tons of stuff overseas (Japan, Philippines, etc.) where Montero's/Pajero's are very, very popular.
K&N may make an Intake replacement kit. You may be able to use/modify the kits for the 3000GT/Stealth to fit too. One thing that will definitely set you apart is a Snorkle and it will improve performance as well.
