Default Alarm system

I have a question regarding my Montero 2004
How can I turn off the horn when activating the alarm with my remote?

There is a procedure in the manual as far as how to program it so the horn does not beep when you set the alarm. I thought about turning mine off but then decided I liked the beep. Your didn't lose you manual already did you?

I have the manual and there is nothing about how to turn the horn off when you set the alarm on. Can you guide me through that. Maybe they left it out of the 2004 manual. The dealer couldnt help me either.

If you are referring to the confirmation beep that accompanies the arming and disarming of the alarm system- CLICK HERE and scroll down.
I should work pretty much the same as the instructions given there.

Thanks Joel.

It is on page 3-7 in my manual. I meant to bring it in, but I left it at home.
