Thumbs up Anyone have OEM Sunroof wind deflector AMR01YKX05 (pics)

I've been wanting a sunroof wind deflector, but only want the OEM one. I wanted to know if anyone has it, and how it installs.

It's more of a Mitsu official accessory and not really considered an "option". really rare type of part.

The official mitsu part # is AMR01YKX05

here is a picture

I bought the sunroof wind deflector last year for my limited 2002 @ dealerfit.com for $157.80 and the side window wind deflectors (4) for $75.53 + $25.93 ship. That was the cheapest price that I could find, my local dealer wanted 200.00 plus for the sunroof wind deflector alone, so I did my homework on the internet and it was the best price. It comes with instructions and very easy to install, it takes about an hour or so to get it done, the best part is that there is no drilling in the process and comes with double sided tape to get it attached to the roof and side rails. The ride is very quiet with the sunroof fully open something i could not do with out it, I'll take pics. tomorrow as soon as have a chance and post them for You.

maco35, GREAT INFO, im glad more Montero owners are being more active in the forums.

PLEASE post those pics, if you do yours will probably be THE ONLY ONE that isn't that dealer pic I posted which is small and puny.

So the sunroof one just installs with double sided tape? thats it? is that secure? No type of physical clamps or anything.

thanks again
