Default auto zone california compliant cat.converters

what has the experience been with those who have used the basic cats vs factory oem ones? One MS oem cat lasted 124k and the other is still ok aftr 249K. I know there are so many variable that can effect the life of all the cats ,so I may not be able to make an accurate decision on this. Id like to see actually unbiased & sci controlled testing comps, but no ones going to put up the $ unless they see a surebet profit in doing it.

Well ,on the positive side, someone may reply with informtion that might just help me decide on cheap vs expensive oem.

here's an autozone link for a reference
