It is always useful to stop at the timing marks before removing the timing belt. Sounds like its a little too late now, but keep it in mind for next time. Unless there is something funky going on with your engine (specialty camshafts, etc.) the standard timing marks are the big "V"s. Attached is the PDF showing the locations of the proper timing marks.
