Default Catalytic converter

Hey people the catalytic converter of my 1996 monty is broken and the exhaust sounds really bad. I believe the oxygen sensors also don't work. Thought of removing the cataylitic converter for it is a much cheaper option but a friend of mine told me that it would no give the right gas mixture. What do you recommend? Thank you all.

Default catalytic converter

That is right! You wont get the right gas mixture and it wont run right. I know that catalytic converter are expensive but autozone has them for 89.99 or go to this website www.rockautoparts.com they are cheaper.

Good Luck!
