The problem that I am having is whether it is hot air or A/C, the switch to put the air on max does not work. It works on low and all the other in between settings but it does not work on max. Would I just be able to replace the switch itself or would I have to replace the whole climate control unit?

 

I would first check your freon level on the low side port of your ac lines. It could be as simple as low refrigerant.

Edit: just read your post again, so the max doesn't work with the heat or the ac?
