Default Driveshaft and cv boots

So I recently bought the lift springs from old man emu for my 2002 Mitsubishi montero 3.5 with 5spd auto.
I was planning on buying the struts and shocks from them later so I just went with the springs for now.

I looked under there today after replacing the springs about 3 months ago and now my drive shaft and cv boots are broken. I am not sure if it was due to the new spring install or if they were broken before and I just never noticed.

Do the lift springs cause these issues if installed without the full kit?

Thanks guys

jp
