Need help please!
Having a problem on my egr valve and solenoid as per assessment....but thru keep comingback to the dealer by changing and buying new egr and solenid as they cant fix the low power and black smoke ...as in sakal na sakal ang takbo!....now somebody find it out na hose intake ang problem....back to dealer they say its a wrong assessment?they want me to buy the hose intake? Any ideas on how to deal with this? Thanks again! Al

 

I doubt black smoke and lack of power would be related to the EGR system. Most likely it is very rich fuel mixture and/or burning oil in the cylinders. I'd be checking fuel mixture, proper function of MAF and MAP sensors as well to make sure you do not have plugged exhaust.
