Hello

can somebody help me with replacing an EGR valve for a 2000
Montero Sport ES....

engine light came out, went to autozone, they said ---- EGR Valve----- p0403
do i need to buy the solenoid first? maybe???

how do I replace it?

replace the EGR solenoids first. also your going to eventually remove the intake and clean out the EGR ports. p0401 EGR insufficient flow will be the next code you get. wont be long.

Is it called " SOLENOID VALVE" or "control solenoid" or starter solenoid
