Engine coolant temperature guage
So just lately I have noticed that when i turn on my 2002 Montero Limited that the engine temperature guage jumps up 1/3 on the temperature guage. I was wondering if your guys Montero did this? Also the needle moves to 3/4 up the guage but I did notice that the needle would move up and down the guage as I drive. Do you guys think I have a faulty engine coolant temperature sensor or my Montero is overheating?
run ur car with the coolent cap open....may be there air bubbles in the line...openin the cap (not on the radiator) will let them escape...my buddies taurus did the same thing
