hey guys i have a 2001 silver monty i was wondering if anyone has or has seen the fridges on the montero, i have never seen one and all the guys that look
in my middle compartment say "u see that 12v thats for the freezer cus these trucks i have seen with a freezer" but i havent actually seen one. u guys know wich compartment im talking about, the big one in the middle wich is the lower one out of the 2 compartments that are between the 2 front seats. some say that the fridge is oem i have never called the dealer though, i always remember when i surf the net
any info would be great.

 

Would be cool to see. I wonder if it's the kind that simply cools things to X degree's below the ambient temp or if it's a true refrig that actually cools to X degree's regardless of outside temp?

I'd like to buy one of the 2nd units but the only ones I know of are $700 and take up a ton of room.
