Man that is crazy! Everything that I could dig up says rack and pinion is bad. Get it to a reputable shop asap.

Wow that is bad. Obviously some major steering component failed. Drive it only to the shop and slowly.

Thanks for your help but you're wrong. I DO NOT HAVE RACK AND PINION STEERING!

I HAVE A STEERING GEAR BOX AKA PARALLELOGRAM STEERING!
Like some other trucks and MOST Semi Tractors!

The Vehicle in the front has "Rack and Pinion" Steering.
The Montero behind it has PARALLELOGRAM STEERING also known as a "steering gear box"

Few thoughts on the problem you are having:
1. Badly worn and ready to fail ball joints and/or steering linkages.
2. Very out of balance tires.
3. Is it possible to get this kind of vibration with a CV joint that is binding up at certain position? Do you get any noises when going around the corners?

I had badly unbalanced tires once on a pickup truck and it did shake the steering wheel badly just like in your videos. One thing that is confusing that in your case it seem to happen during very low speeds and even in reverse. Just for kicks you can swap tires front to back and see if you get any change in vibration.

You have a very badly separated tire. Jack up the front and spin the tires by hand. Look at the tread and you will see a bubble guarantee. DON'T drive fast or on any highway.

I have a GEN 1 with a similar issue, but its more of a fast wobble than the slow side to side of yours. Curious as to what you find out.
