how do these tires fit?
i just bought a 2000 montero sport and it has 285 bridgestone dueler a/t, i was wondering if i have a lift on my montero sport because there is no rubbing in the fender and there is plenty of clearance, also when im driving sometimes ill hear a noise coming from under the car and then ill slow down and the car will jolt then the 4wd light will come on blinking n not come off for a few days anyone have any idea whats wrong???thanks

RE: how do these tires fit?
I'm not sure about the sport but on older Montero's, you could usually fit much larger tires than stock. On my 1990, I was able to run 32x11.5" tires.
IIRC, on the gen II montero's you can run 32x11.5's as well.
Again not sure about sizes for the sport but I would suspect a similar situation with sizing. FWIW, the tire stores rarely have the right size limits for mitsubishi's. They only have what they call plus sizing (for using larger rims)
With regard to your jolt & 4wd light problem you may have an issue with either your transfer case or your auto locking hubs. Either that or you have a loose 4wd indicator connector somewhere. No matter what, I would definitely have this looked at by a knowledgeable mechanic (not necessarily your dealer).
