You'll need to be more specific on what year and model you have so i can look it up. Most may not be able to change it after all, but i can check for you. Have you tried the owners manual?

This is a Montero 2001 Limited. I have looked at the manual but there is nothing about these changes. I have changed the display from miles to km (The miles you can drive be for you are out of gas or patrol or what you call it). So I am thinking - it must be possible to change the F to C. The dealer in Iceland isn't too happy about all the Montero cars who are being shipped from USA to Iceland. The Montero is about 10.000 - 20.000 cheaper from the USA than from the Icelandic dealer. That is probably the explanation why he hasn’t been willing to help. And there you have it.
I would just like to thank you all for showing this an interest. Hopefully some of you will find something about this.
