Default How do you get the radio serial number?

I just recently purchased a 2000 montaro sport and had the timing belt and water pump replaced. When I got it home from the repair shop noticed the radio is asking for a code. Of course this code is no whrere to be found in any of the paper work I received when I purchased it. I have read on here that I can call and get the code but need the radio serial number? Could someone please tell me how to get the radio out so I can get the number off of it? Is this the only way to get the code? Thanks so much.

If I remember right you have to get the code from Mitsubishi if you don't have it. I know I don't have it, should I ever need it.

The same situation is exactly mine as you are - carlover626. A month ago I bought 2000 MMS and don't have the radio code. I was advised to take off the radio to learn its serial number. It should be sent to Mitsubishi along with VIN and they will tell the code. But the proper problem is to take off the radio. My understanding is that it is too difficult to do.
At what mileage you have replaced the timing belt?
