We'd like to haul an 18" extension ladder on the top of the vehicle. When the two sections of the ladder are collapsed, it is about 10'8" long.
As you can see in the photo, the vehicle has a rack, consisting of a rail on each side, on the roof. Does anyone know of an add-on or technique for hauling the extension ladder on top of the vehicle?
You need to get a set of crossbars for the roof rack. That is the base for everything. Best two manufacturers are Thule and Yakima. Check out their websites to find what size/style you need. www.thule.com www.yakima.com
I have a Thule system on my 2001 Monty. Had it for over 17 years now, still works like a dream.
