Default How to: Remove lower timing gear

Can anyone tell me how to Remove a lower timing gear. The shear pin is...well, sheared. I need to replace the Demonic balancer and I noticed that the pin is sheared off. The engine or crank shaft doesn't have to be pulled right? Are there any special tools needed? Is it possible to replace just the roll/shear pin, if so how?

97 Montero LS 3.5l

Please and thank you!

If the bolt is into the crank, you'll have to take it out to fix the sheared key way.

I doubt you'll get that in that space.
