I have a 2002 Montero Ltd and yesterday all of a sudden key won't turn in ignition. Steering wheel locked. I tried and tried. I called local parts store and asked for ideas. Finally one said yank real hard back and forth while holding break pedal down and turning key. It took a few times but it worked. Never done this before. Today it has done it twice more. I only have key with chip. Nothing more. I do not know why. I get the feeling something is going to break. Any ideas as to what to do?Thanks!
