Default installing after market radio

hello outhere

need advise, guys i asked in the auto stereo place told me that if i install new cd radion in my 95 montero, the speakers will pop, told that i have to bypass the
factory amp found under the passenger seat. is that true, what would you recommend.....

What does pop mean? Did They say you'll blow the speakers? Try calling the following number to Crutchfield, they have tech support...1-888-955-6000. Just tell them what you want and they will advise you, they even provide install assistance.
