Every time I have ever attempted to remove door panels, I invaria
bly tear or break something when I use screw drivers etc. I dont want to risk it with my 01 MS.
I have noticed that harbor freight sells a couple tool kits for this purpose.
Has anyone tried any out?
I need to see if theres a short at the door lock area behind the door panel

I have used a few plastic and mixed metal plastic devices for many door and body projects:
amazon sells for about $5 some Panel Removal Tool 5 pcs - they are red plastic tools but not for heavy duty projects.

then i have my more heavy trim parts like the Lisle 35260 Plastic Fastener Remover & Ninth-City 3Pcs Car Door Trim Clip Panel.

I have managed to break a piece or two when im rushing but having worked on cars for some time, its just a matter of patience, technique and getting the correct bend angle and insert angle.
