does anybody know where can a knock come from when normally accelerating from a stop? it does not always happen? any ideas? thanks

 

have you checked your rear axle? or see if anything looks like it's loose or hanging, I heard a knocking noise in my front end followed by a crunch when i would hit the brakes and turns out it was a busted CV joint half shaft.
