Default lifter noise

Hello,
I have been working with Larry offline on my head gasket repair. Now I seem to have a lifter noise. I have attached a video of the engine running.
Thanks,
Steve

Steve - I don't think your video loaded, try again.

Here is a link to the bleeding procedure for the valve lash adjusters to remove air and quite them down.

I think that’s geek speak for “your attached file is too big”. I’ve had that before.

Wondering if its your hydraulic belt tensioner? The frequency of your "ticking" sounds too fast for lifter noise (VLA) at idle to me based on how mine ticks. Either that or you have several ticking.

Checkout this thread and Post 7 in particular.

Larry,
You are saying it may be the hydraulic timing belt tensioner or the serpentine belt tensioner. I installed a new water pump timing belt, idler as well as a new timing tensioner. The serpentine belt and serpentine tensioner were not replaced.
Thanks,
Steve

The video links I found were of failed hydraulic timing tensioners.

I guess the failed tensioner makes the timing belt loose and a slapping noise. I did install a new tensioner and followed the install procedure also check the gap which I was around 4.2mm. I just ran it again and it is hard to determine where it is coming from.
