I am looking for an owner's manual (not a shop or repair manual) for a:

1997 Mitsubishi Montero LS

Note that this is NOT a Sport model.

I suppose I should add that I have looked at the various locations recommended (even stickied) here in this forum.

The books4cars site says they have the manual for $99.99.

It's hard to pony up that much money for a vehicle that's 22 years old, and this is a want, not a need.

I'm really just trying to figure out the dash lights (4WD, in particular) and the other good-to-know stuff an owner's manual typically contains.

You may not find the manual for exactly your year, but a year before or after often works.

 

I found this page in the past. Unfortunately, it only seems to contain links to service manuals, not Owner's Manuals.
