Default max tire size?

I have a great set of tires that I want to put on a 1998 Montero Sport, but they are a little wider than the tires that are on it now. But then again, I know that the tires that are on it now (265x75x15) are a little narrower than the tires that were originally on it.

The tires I want to put on it are 31"x10.5"x15. Will they rub the fenders when the front wheels are turned all the way to the left or the right?

What are the largest tires you can put on a '98 Montero Sport without rubbing?

Thanks!

I used 31/10.5/15 Goodyear AT/s at the stock ride height without ANY clearance problems. I then lifted the suspension approximately 1.5" front and rear to complete the look. Now i'm now currently running 265/75/16's (which is equivalent to roughly 31.5) on my lifted 98 Montero Sport.
