Exclamation Montero Info Collection

I got 95 Montero and its smoking like a coal steam engine. Goes through 1 quart of oil a week... Yup. So, time to mod. From what I've seen on these forums, people hate anything non-mitsu, so i won't concentrate on that. Rather I want to find as much info as i can pertaining engine bay space, axle ratios, transmission tunnel space, drive shaft lengths, shaft orientation, rotation, transfer case ratios, and the sort.

Most importantly, engine bay spacing. I'm not a fan boy of anything, so if i can get my hands on a good reliable engine that can fit with any trans and keep the 4x4 working correctly, then ill go for it.

I have the 3.0 SOHC with 4 speed auto, i will start measurements soon on engine transmission and engine bay. If anyone has a 3.0 or 3.5 engine out of vehicle, that would facilitate alot of things.

More will be added as info is collected.
